East 10th Street: Self Portrait with Empty House … a judiciously austere production… sweet and sinister… (Oliver is) a living work of theater all by himself.” - Ben Brantley, New York Times “…an outlandish cast, worthy of Dostoyevsky… creepy and droll beyond words… a pitch-perfect delivery… profoundly affecting.” - New York...

food jammers
perhaps one of the best shows ever. they make food by creating their own contraptions and gadgets. as an added bonus, they are all musically inclined…. beyond cool. my fave by far would be their taco machine. yo quiero. this can be viewed on the food network (though im pretty sure it has been cancelled)
note: any spelling or grammatical errors in the previous post is due to my inability to concentrate and multi-tasking while watching anthony bourdain.

spotted: george clooney and his ridiculously charming smile.
album review of lykke li’s “wounded rhymes” from “youth knows no pain” to the end of the LP to “silent my song”… it is quite different from her first. it seems this time around she is using her voice at its rawest. no dainty notes, or clarity in the words. it leaves an impression on your chest for lack of a better word to equate the heaviness of it...

the next frugal traveler
i’ve been contemplating on what ideal career would cater to my infinite amount of interests, opinionated nature, heart-wrenching desire to care for others and world issues, and living life to the fullest… then it hit me! i am going to be the next frugal traveler. whether that be in association with new york times, creation of my own television series similar to that of anthony bourdain...
